JACKSON, Miss. — Mississippi Votes has released its Voter Registration Toolkit, a practical, easy to follow resource designed to help Mississippians understand the voter registration process and prepare to participate in upcoming elections.

The toolkit is built for residents, community organizations, educators, and first time voters across the state. It consolidates critical information into one accessible guide, removing barriers that have historically kept communities from the polls.

“We are committed to building voter power across Mississippi,” said Lily Moens, Policy and Research Director. “This toolkit is one of many ways we are ensuring Mississippians have the information they need to make their voices heard.”

The Voter Registration Toolkit covers how to register to vote in Mississippi, how to check and update registration status, acceptable forms of photo identification, key election dates and deadlines for 2026, and polling place access and voter rights protections. The resource also addresses information gaps that affect voter turnout, including the absence of early in person voting, and the 30 day registration deadline ahead of Election Day.

Mississippi Votes encourages residents, community leaders, and organizations to download and share the toolkit broadly. Voters seeking additional assistance may contact the Mississippi Votes Voter Information Hotline at 833-678-4321 for free, nonpartisan support.

The Voter Registration Toolkit is available now at www.msvotes.org.
